We understand that families are navigating different challenges right now. When we are able to return to school, our staff will work with students to make sure they have the time and support they need to complete any work affected by the weather.

Kentucky is transitioning from the ACT to the SAT, and we want our BCHS students and families to feel confident and prepared every step of the way.
While the format is changing, our commitment to students is not. The SAT still measures the same core skills—reading, writing, and math—and BCHS is already aligning instruction, practice opportunities, and support to match the SAT. Students will receive targeted practice, exposure to SAT-style questions, and guidance on test strategies so there are no surprises on test day.
To help families better understand the difference between the ACT and SAT, we encourage you to watch this short, helpful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy6mh3OkekM
